Turn of the Decade

New Year, a time of refreshment, a time to start over. A clean slate. No demerits, or 'black marks' from the previous year. A new beginning, a new Once Upon a Time, with only space for us to fill in the blank however we like. New Years is always a great holiday, because it is a time for us to forget the past and only focus on the future. A time to set goals, a time to create resolutions. That depending on our will and discipline may or may not be completed. It is a time when we have the chance to re-evaluate ourselves. But most importantly, look back on the many memories we have made. 2009 was a good year, but it will never come again. We will never experience it again, its vanished, ended at 11:59, and is never to return again. The decade has turned, changed, and so will we, as we face whatever is to come in 2010.
