One day only a portion of the hike was 7,000 uphill steps, and they were super steep. But we just kept going up and up. Each night we would stay in a lodge, only a few bedrooms, all
sharing the same bathroom. We were lucky if we got a hot shower- so there was always a fight over who got to go first! The other porters carried our food for lunch, which they made everyday. Noodles and nan bread, which was good because it was freezing, and we always looked forward to the warm noodles to rejuvenate our bodies.
